What is cloisonné?
The most traditional way of producing an enamel pin badge with what most consider to be the best quality. The process starts in a similar way to the most popular die struck enamel however a harder (glass like) enamel is used often referred to as hard enamel. The plated areas are then hand polished down to the enamel creating a smooth finish. All badges are supplied as standard with a butterfly clasp fitting. Other fittings are available such as a brooch (+7p each) – See fittings page for further details.
